DiagnosticLook
The concept for DiagnosticLook and its exploration of AR medical diagnostics emerged from my interest in the intersection of AI, AR/VR, and healthcare advancements. This interest was also personal, stemming from my experience caring for a terminally ill, aging parent. While technological innovations, particularly in health and medicine, have the potential to be life-changing, they also bring us face-to-face with patients at their most vulnerable. This duality—of immense progress alongside deep responsibility—shaped the core of this project.
Ultimately, the central question I came to explore was: Could AR technology ultimately replace the need for regular doctor’s visits?
I wanted to explore the potential sweet spot between technological integration and personalized care: What are the benefits of AR in healthcare? What are the potential risks? And, most importantly, do the benefits always outweigh the costs?
Ultimately, I explored how we can responsibly integrate such advancements into our lives while considering their profound impact on both individuals and society.
