Seeing the opportunities and designing experiences with seamless integration.

Experience Design

Opportunity

Untapped potential is all around us, but it takes vision and expertise to see what is truly possible.

For this project, we identified a clear market trajectory (an aging population), business opportunities, and novel solutions, with the goal of creating an experience with impact.

Trending

Designing experiences isn’t solely based on good aesthetics (although, what’s not to love about a good mood board?) or being ‘on trend’ - it’s about being a step ahead, knowing where the trends are going, setting them, and creating the experience to encounter what’s new.

For this project, it was key to know what was happening across industries in order to capitalize on the opportunity - this meant knowing new technology capabilities, market trends, and customer trajectories.

To be a truly excellent experience designer, you must position yourself and your network to be an interpreter of culture.

Seamless Integration

Bringing it all together. The true magic of this experience was in the seamless integrative design. There were three target customers: residents, care workers, and family members. Each one received a personalized experience tailored to their needs. The technology needed a sophistication to anticipate the audience in numerous ways: from physical movements to cognitive needs.

At every turn, we designed something to be discovered.
